The Ashinaga bonsai scissors are the perfect every-day pruning shears for me. With enough strength to cleanly cut lignified hardwood with ease, while being fine enough for delicate pruning of shohin trees. These scissors are professionally sharp, cleanly cutting paper where other tools rip. Avoiding torn tissue when pruning reduces die-back and improves callus formation, so my trees continue to develop rapidly. The Yasugi steel Ashinaga bonsai scissors are a delight to use, definitely my go-to shears

I recently had the pleasure of using the Yasugi Steel Ashinaga bonsai pruning shears, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and ergonomics of this tool.
Firstly, the quality of the shears was apparent from the moment I picked them up. The blades were sharp and precise, allowing for clean cuts. The handles felt sturdy and durable, ensuring that the tool would last for many years to come.
In addition to its quality, the ergonomic design of the shears was also exceptional. The handles were contoured to fit comfortably in my hand, reducing strain and fatigue during prolonged pruning sessions.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Yasugi Steel Ashinaga bonsai pruning shears to any bonsai enthusiast. It's exceptional quality and ergonomic design makes it a joy to use and a valuable addition to any bonsai toolkit.

Absolutely delighted with my new Bonsai Scissors. Took about 10 days to receive them as they came from Japan but worth the wait. Looking to buy concave cutters next. Wish the tool bag was a little less expensive.

Took about 2 weeks for the seller to ship and never got responses to my request for an ETA through the Shopify app, but excellent quality once I received the Bonsai Scissors! Very satisfied!

Exactly what I was looking for

I primarily got these for cleaner/more precise gathering of herbs and flowers from my garden. I also wanted to turn my bushy Jade plant into a Bonsai tree. I'd been looking for quite awhile for the perfect pair--there are a lot of cheap options, or ones that look more utilitarian, but I wanted something that looked nice enough for display, and was high quality enough to last for years. I'm glad I landed on these, because they have all those qualities and functions that I was looking for. I also love that they will be easy to sharpen when the time comes. They are working wonderfully, and the look and quality is amazing. So sharp and precise. I'm excited for them to be my forever garden scissors!

First Professional Bonsai Scissors

Honestly, this is my first professional bonsai scissors, It feels good on hand, it is very sharp and comfortable. Only the "disappointing" thing is that blades are a bit loosen (there is gab/movement between blades) As it is my 1st such tool I have nothing to compare with and I hope it is by design and it should be exactly like that. I would be happy if someone can answer the question.
