【Sturdy and Very Sharp Blade】
Ideal for ikebana flower arrangement, kado, bonsai and general gardening work
【Classic Ikenobo Design】
The traditional ikenobo scissors open widely and easily cut different types of branches and stems.
"Warabi"(the curls at the ends of the handles) let you crush hard stems and brunches to help the flowers' water absorption
【Clean Cut, Sharp Edge】
With a short rounded but pointed edge, it severs flower fibers cleanly resulting in better water absorption.
Hold the upper handle between your thumb and palm and hold the lower handle with the remaining four fingers.
When you open your four fingers, the blade opens with the weight of the handle.
Scissors works as an extension of your hand.
Open the blade naturally when you open your hand, and close the blade naturally when you close your hand.
These are very nice. Having no problem cutting and are the right size to what I need. Would recommend these to anyone.

"I love these flower scissors! The blade quality is excellent. Note that this is not a stainless steel pair of scissors, so needs care. I dry the blades thoroughly after each use to prevent rust and the blade stays sharp. The blade cuts more easily and smoothly than any stainless steel scissors Ifve used and as long as I take care of the blade metal, the scissors stay very sharp for a long time. Initially, it took a few times of use to adjust to the uniqueness of using Japanese-style scissors, yet I love the feel of the scissors in my hand and knowing Ifm using scissors designed to create art with my floral arrangements. "
"Traditional Japanese hasami for ikebana flower arranging - the best! These hand drop-forged clippers last for years. Awesome! "
"I love using these scissors to cut the stems on my fresh flowers. They make a nice clean cut and are sharp so I don't have to squeeze them hard to trim. "
