"Warabi" Handle, Multipurpose Scissors

These handles are used for crushing the ends of hard stems and branches as an additional preservation technique. Suitable for general ikebana and flower arrangement tasks, gardening and delicate work. No problem with thick branches.

【How to Use】
Hold the upper handle between your thumb and palm and hold the lower handle with the remaining four fingers. When you open your four fingers, the blade opens with the weight of the handle. Scissors works as an extension of your hand. Open the blade naturally when you open your hand, and close the blade naturally when you close your hand.

Excellent scissors for floral arrangements!

"I love these flower scissors! The blade quality is excellent. Note that this is not a stainless steel pair of scissors, so needs care. I dry the blades thoroughly after each use to prevent rust and the blade stays sharp. The blade cuts more easily and smoothly than any stainless steel scissors Ifve used and as long as I take care of the blade metal, the scissors stay very sharp for a long time. Initially, it took a few times of use to adjust to the uniqueness of using Japanese-style scissors, yet I love the feel of the scissors in my hand and knowing Ifm using scissors designed to create art with my floral arrangements.
