Real Japanese bonsai pots 100% handmade by the artisans of Tokoname in Aichi Prefecture. Tokoname is one of the oldest pottery producing places in Japan (Six Ancient Kilns) and specializes in tea ware, bonsai pots and flower vases.

【Which Trees/Plants is this for?】
Due to its color, the airy clay and the thin ceramic, it is a good bonsai pot for conifers, deciduous trees, literary bonsai, creative compositions delicate trees and flowering trees. Also recommended as a cactus or succulent planter and houseplant container for your garden.

【Features】
The square shape adds balance to thick trunk bonsais (the bonsai tree twice as height as the pot). Thanks to the firing process, Tokoname ware pots are less likely to crack when temperature changes. Also, with 1 large hole for drainage and 2 small holes for wires, it's great bonsai pot for repotting and training trees.

Striped Square Tokoname series

This is a beautiful pot and really well made. It's a really special item to receive because its wrapped and presented with so much care as only the Japanese could do. I can't wait to plant my Dorstenia lavrani in it!
I have many rare plants and I love putting them in beautiful pots so now I've found these products I'm obsessed with getting as many as my budget will allow. I like pretty much all of them!
